Bar Menu Favorites Get the El Gaucho Treatment

Ribs, Certified Angus Beef® Prime Burgers and Mac and Cheese Debut


Seattle, Wash.—(June 26, 2008)— The original El Gaucho reigned at Seventh Avenue and Olive Way from 1953 until it closed in 1985. During that time, the bar was frequented by celebrities such as Bob Hope, Peggy Lee and The Carpenters.

Fifty five years since its inception (El Gaucho reopened in its current location in 1996), the bar still has swanky style, exceptional service and elite clientele.  

The bar menu is available daily from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. (on Sundays from 5 to 11 p.m.) and offers the complete El Gaucho experience on some sure-to-become new favorites. And, all menu items are skillfully paired with an award-winning wine or expertly crafted cocktail.  

 

New items include:

410 Burger—$15.

One-half pound Certified Angus Prime sirloin, grilled and topped with thick sliced bacon, Coastal Cheddar, onion, lettuce, tomato, and Thousand Island dressing. Served with steak fries.

Mac ‘n’ Coastal Cheddar Cheese—$10.

Penne pasta with English Coastal Cheddar

Wicked Linguine—$18.

Prawns sauteed in white wine, beer, butter, and secret blend of herbs and spices

Baby Back Ribs—$16.
