Washington Premier Football Club players sell record number of tickets for a chance to win a new BMW 330i

SEATTLE, WA - Washington Premier Football Club (WPFC), along with its premier sponsor, BMW Northwest, handed over the keys of a brand-new BMW 330i to the Echternkamp family on Saturday, November 2nd. WFPC player, Isabella Echternkamp (pictured center), along with her teammates from the G08 Black team, are pictured above with BMW Northwest owner Manfred Scharmach.

Washington Premier Football Club is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and all proceeds from the car raffle benefit the organization, specifically going towards complex improvements— making Washington Premier’s Complex a top tier facility in the Pacific Northwest.

“The car raffle is our biggest single fundraiser and we could not do it without help from BMW Northwest. The partnership with Manfred and the family dealership has allowed WPFC the financial stability to improve the complex while at the same time providing players with financial needs the opportunity to play.”

Washington Premier Football Club’s players started selling raffle tickets in May to neighbors, friends and family members at summer tournaments at the complex where a BMW car was on display and tickets were available for purchase.

The drawing for the BMW 330i was held on October 12th, at the 9th annual WPFC member dinner. The lucky winner Mark and Tara Echternkamp were not present the night of the auction but were reached by phone during the event. When asked what it meant to win the car, Mark responded "This is incredible, I’ve never won any contest. This could not have come at better time for my family. We have 2 kids in college and was expecting to have to purchase a new vehicle within the next two years. Was dreading that day on the near horizon and never imagined this is how it would happen. What a blessing this is for our family and we'll be able to continue assisting our kids in fulfilling their goals & aspirations. To win a new BMW, it's a dream come true."
